Asma came to the UK from Pakistan with basic English language skills. She initially found it difficult to integrate into British society. She discovered JAN Trust through a friend and decided to enrol for an ESOL and IT course. She successfully passed these courses and participated in our skills for life course and various workshops. Asma has now progressed onto a further education college where she is studying childcare and she has aspirations on becoming a teaching assistant.
