JAN Trust offers females one-to-one mentoring covering a wide variety of subjects geared towards supporting their personal development.

We match volunteer mentors with women in order to enhance their leadership within mainstream society. Our mentors come from a variety of ethnic groups and backgrounds such as entrepreneurs, councillors, political activists, chief executives, stay at home mothers and successful business women.

The mentor acts as a point of reference, an anchor for support, and an axis of inspiration. The guidance will be tailor-made and the expectation is that the mentor shall motivate the mentee to the extent that the mentee can become a role model within their own communities.

We aim to motivate women in inspiring them to consider in more detail what their options are, show them that these options are far greater than they might realise, and give practical insights into how others have made a success of their lives.
