We are pleased to announce the launch of one of our interfaith projects - "Faith & Future".
Faith & Future aims to bring together grassroots women from Abrahamic faiths i.e. Islam, Judaism and Christianity. These women will meet to discuss the commonalities between each other's faiths and discuss important issues such as the role of women in religion; peace; family value's; jurisprudence; respect and tolerance. This project is the first of its kind within Haringey.
We will be celebrating the fact that faith is a supportive social force and one that is a cohesive factor.
The first meeting will be on Women's Roles within the Three Faiths and will be held at JAN Trust on Friday 22nd October from 11am - 1pm. Refreshments will be served. (Nearest tube station: Wood Green on the Piccadilly Line and Alexandra Palace rail station).
