Gang Related: Life in the Crips

altJAN Trust presents a seminar on gang life and its effects to be held Sunday 18th December 2011 at Wood Green Library (upstairs in the Gallery) from 1pm - 3pm. The talk will be catering for local youth and their parents in order to raise awareness of various issues surrounding crime such as gang culture; postcode wars; gang signs and street law. Speakers include Hassan, a former committed Crip member from California USA. Hassan's sister was a Blood member who tried to kill him 3 times. Other speakers include Ismael Lea South, former member of the well known hip hop and rap group Mecca to Medina and Salam Project UK Founder as well as Saleh Luqman who is a dedicated youth and community worker.
